Registering your company allows you to obtain:

・A SIREN number: This is a unique and invariable code that is active throughout the life of the company, which consists of nine digits.

・A SIRET number: it identifies each establishment of the company. It consists of 14 digits: the nine digits of the SIREN number and the five digits corresponding to a NIC number (internal classification number).

? Domiciliation allows foreign companies to have an administrative address in France.

In concrete terms, this is the administrative and tax address to which the letters will be sent.

? The intra-community VAT number is mandatory for certain commercial transactions. Your company must therefore register with the competent authority in order to obtain it. It identifies companies and secures their transactions.

? It identifies companies that carry out import and export operations. It is awarded by the customs administration.

? Customs regime 42 allows companies not established in France, wishing to import goods on the national territory on an ad hoc basis in order to transfer them to another member state of the European Union, to avoid VAT registration.
